Just Like a Lady!
Georgia's Valentine's Day loot included these lovely nails (or as Chloe calls them, "finner tails"), and she loved wearing them. Of course they render her powerless to do anything with her hands, but at least she can sit around looking pretty!

Flashback
One time when Georgia was about Chloe's age, Kevin took her to a public restroom to go potty. Of course, it was filthy, and she being 2 1/2 began touching everything. Finally he got frustrated and said, "Don't touch ANYTHING! Don't touch the potty, don't touch the wall, don't touch the floor, don't touch the trash can! Don't touch ANYTHING!"
She stood there for a moment, then with all the sarcasm a toddler can muster asked, "Can I touch my nose?"
What a smart-aleck!
Fast forward to this week, when I am in a public bathroom with Chloe. She knows not to touch anything, but loves pushing the limits.
Chloe: "Can I touch the trash mommy?"
Me: "No, Chloe, you may not."
Chloe: "Can Georgia touch the trash?"
Me: "No."
Chloe: "Can daddy touch it?"
Me: "No."
Chloe: "Can papa touch it?"
Me: (getting irritated at this point) "NO, NOONE can touch it."
Pause...
Chloe: (obviously wanting to trap me) "Can GOD touch it?"
Hmm, how do I answer that one? She knows God can do anything...
Me: "No, God is clean and the trash is dirty."

Beware of the Squirrel!
This is what Georgia came home from school to warn us about...
Then, Chloe followed up with her version of the story...

Puttin' It to Good Use
Our kitchen has been finished for a little while now, and we are very happy with how it turned out. Of course, that leads to us thinking that we need new appliances, sink, faucet, etc..., but will save those projects for a later date! I can't believe how much brighter it is now.

Today, the girls and I made some red velvet cupcakes to bring to a Super Bowl party tomorrow. They LOVED using all of the sprinkles. Although, I'm not sure how appealing their original creations would be to most adults; the cakes were so lavishly decorated that you couldn't see the icing!

Having a big sister has its advantages. Georgia loves to play school and be the teacher, and has taught Chloe well...
(P.S. I think that's pretty great for a 2 year old!)
